A Wonderfully Full Easter
We had a wonderful Easter reconnecting with our former students that we taught about 23 years ago! Some of them are now in charge of this big region of the AFM (Apostolic Faith Mission) and they invited Ron to be the speaker for their 3 day Easter Conference. It was so amazing to watch them enjoying the Lord, and each other, and Ron’s colorful preaching. He preached 3 times for them on Friday, twice on Saturday, and then at the Sunrise Service on Sunday! We had wonderful altar services too! Loads of singing, dancing, pageantry, etc. Then we went up to the Eastern Cape to another meeting that Ron preached as well and we had Easter dinner there with the Pastor and leaders afterwards. They had a baptism service before we got there with 61 people baptized. They had already had a wedding, and the bride and groom were sitting there. They looked beautiful! They had done all this and we got there by 10:30 a.m. Then they sang, and sang and did special dances for us, then Ron preached! We loved everything that happened.
Last Day in Limuru
All is well here. I just finished packing our suitcases for leaving the house at 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. The Limuru Pastors gave us a big beautiful copper picture and we have been trying to package it up with foam rubber to somehow carry on. A major feat. Ron, David Cerar, Jacob Mills, and Mary–Dave’s secretary were all working on it a while ago, lol!

Amboseli Game Reserve
Ron and I are pictured here at the top of a small mountain we climbed up in the Amboseli Game Reserve. This day we saw elephants, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, and lots of other animals.
We are having a great time here. Our seminars are finished in Kenya but we have meetings at night now at a church in Nairobi that meets in a tent.
I just made another big pot of lamb curry. David Cerar wanted me to make it one more time. (I’ll post the recipe if I get a chance tomorrow.) Jacob and Kim Mills are here. They have a 2 hr. feature film that they are showing all over. It is in Swahili and was made by their ministry.
