Our son-in-law, Joe, graduates from film school at Regent University today! We are so proud of him!
A Medical Upset
We are so grateful for your moral support, prayer support, and financial support. Thank you because so many of you have responded with visits, cards and special offerings during Ron’s recent medical problems and time in the hospital. The Doctors still don’t know what is wrong, but he is improving.
Ron and His Puff Adder
Ron killed his first poisonous snake this morning! Jana Lackey hollered over to Miss Pat’s that there was a puff adder in the back yard. We have heard that they strike faster than any other poisonous snake. Anyway, Ron went over and chopped its head off with a shovel. He was pretty proud of himself. He said he felt like “Samson”.
Jerry and Jana have had a great visit back here and enjoyed the camp meeting and vision casting with everyone.
Christmas Caroling
Yesterday we went Christmas caroling with our church folks after the Sunday morning service. It was really a wonderful experience. We went to about six different blocks of flats and sang in the courtyard of each and then different ones of us took turns delivering Christmas boxes filled with goodies to some of the more needy residents.
The Long Road to London
We’re on our way from San Antonio, Texas to London, England via Dallas and Virginia Beach! Before jumping the pond we had to get one last night with our son, Cameron’s family in Dallas, Texas and then help get our daughter Dory’s family moved up the coast. She and Joe resigned from Destiny Church in San Antonio, Texas in order to attend Regent University in Virginia Beach next fall. They are planning to pursue their dream of making family films.
