The Elephants of Kruger Park

The Elephants of Kruger Park
We saw 50 elephants in 1 day!

Excerpt from Christi’s journal:

Kruger Park was amazing. We had two days off in South Africa and all our friends were busy. We weren’t sure what to do with ourselves, so I had the idea of going to Kruger (because Ron always talks about Kruger). We stayed at a really nice bed and breakfast outside the park and when we got there the owner let us use his big tall van both days, for free, so we could see the animals better! What a blessing. The second day we saw 50 elephants, we had counted 49 (whole families with babies) and then just as we drove up to the gates to leave there was one more big elephant right at the gate to make an even 50. We also saw Cape Buffalo, Giraffes, Zebras, male and female Kudus, monkeys, baboons, wart hogs galore, wildebeest, hippos, rhinos!!!! The only thing we didn’t see were cats, no lions or leopards.
