Nagoya, Japan

Nagoya Japan

We are enjoying Japan a lot.  It is very different to China and Thailand.  It is modern and actually is not similar to the U.S. but it is similar to Europe, in particular, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is has a lot of hills and mountains and more seasonal type plants.  Right now azaleas and the last of the cherry blossoms.  We are in a seaport town called, Nagoya, now and we pass lots of Japanese cars lined up to be shipped to Los Angeles.

We have had really great services.  The people are very responsive and they especially like Dad’s demonstrative preaching style.  One of our interpreters was a very sweet young woman that went to International Bible College in San Antonio, Texas.  Her name is Kyoko.

Last week we were in meetings with Carlos Anacondia from Argentina.  Half of the crowd of about 4,500 people were Brazilian and half Japanese.  This was an historic meeting where the Brazilian Christians and Japanese Christians decided to work together for a big meeting.  They usually do things separately.  There are lots of Brazilians here working in Japan.  Anyway, it was a great time…lots of healings especially!
